Revival Prayer while Riding with the Holy Spirit. Part One.

These are revival prayers the Spirit gave me while riding around South Island of New Zealand, from January 28th – February 3RD 2019. I hope they encourage and prompt prayer along the lines of 2 Chronicles 7:14. My prayer is, that these prayers will help shape your prayer for revival, as the Holy Spirit leads you.

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

On my ride into Picton I prayed

For a remnant of God’s faithful praying believing church to feel afresh wind of the Spirit, refreshing and encouraging them; while energising their prayer. I see angels lifting them up and ministering to them, many are weary from what has felt like a dry season of faithful praying. But now they are being encouraged that their prayers make a difference.

Prayer while riding from Picton to Oyster Bay

The Holy Spirit is stirring up a remnant within his church across New Zealand. A remnant with an intercession in their hearts for the gospel to be the power and fire of God for salvation within churches throughout New Zealand. Their prayer is for churches to become testimonies of the gospel.

There is a fresh zeal and desire to pray arising throughout the body of Christ. Prayer from the desire to see churches being a testimony of Jesus and effective in winning  souls. As this praying remnant feel this stirring and begin to pray they will have a new sense of faith and energy in their prayers. And God will protect their prayers from the enemy who wants to put these prayers out.

I have posted watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem;
they will never be silent day or night.
You who call on the Lord,
give yourselves no rest,
and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem
and makes her the praise of the earth. Isaiah 62:6-7

Prayer while riding through Christchurch

This prayer rose from my spirit to my mind as I was riding through Christchurch and Rolleston on 29th.

The Praying Remnant

The Spirit led me to pray for the ‘praying remnant’ within his church. These are the ‘ones’ who refuse to shrink back from faith in God’s faithfulness and mercy. The ones whose hope is firmly and only in the blood of Jesus; and the Holy Spirit with us.

This remnant prays.

Prayers of faith like Elijah. They pray from faith not sight; and they pray from scripture not experience.

The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. Elijah was a human being, even as we are. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops. James 5:16-18

They pray faithfully and courageously like Daniel. They pray persistently and don’t give up

Now when Daniel learned that the decree had been published, he went home to his upstairs room where the windows opened toward Jerusalem. Three times a day he got down on his knees and prayed, giving thanks to his God, just as he had done before. Daniel 6:10

Prayer is decisive

This remnant are decisive in the kingdom of God coming on earth as in heaven; and they are decisive in Jesus salvation flowing like a river into his church. They are decisive because their prayers open the way on earth to a God desired and purposed future. As the prayers of these saints rise to Our Father like incense. They release the already prepared kingdom of God  on earth; with all its blood bought redemption, restoration, healing, unity and blessing.

A praying remnant within a congregation will see refreshing and blessing flow through that congregation. They will see a new effectiveness arise as witnesses together with the Holy Spirit in the fields Jesus said are white ready for harvest.

Let’s pray for Jesus kingdom to come on earth as in heaven.

Thanks for reading this, I pray your heart will leap with hope in the Holy Spirit. You will be encouraged to pray. May peace of God fill your heart and guard your mind.
